Supply Chain planning Supervisor
One of our clients is looking for an experienced (Supply chain planning supervisor) to join there team based in Lutterworth.

branches can provide a fast and efficient delivery service either direct to the site
where the equipment is to be installed or to your own business premises.
JOB ROLE:
You will be responsible for the central product ordering & management team, while tasked with specific key job areas & projects, reporting directly to the senior manager. The role is specifically head office based, leading the team & providing support in there day to day duties of raising purchase orders, supplier & product management & system facilitation. The role requires the supervisor to respond to agreed KPI’s of process and service to the branches and suppliers. Excellent communication, leadership and systems knowledge is required with a solid background in supply chain and stock control methodologies.
This is a new role recently created and the appointed candidate will be expected to integrate with a successful and established team while bringing an innovative approach. The Supply Chain Planning Supervisor will be forward developing, self motivated and be able to demonstrate a 'can do’ attitude in all areas of the job role.
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the Inventory process and procedures are adhered to and team tasks are carried out in conformity. To periodically review and refresh the daily and weekly functional tasks of the team.
To provide training or training requirements that will enable the team to be effective and to allow propagation of team and individual development. Responsibility for co-ordinating supplier returns in conjunction with the Inventory Controllers, Purchase Supply Controllers and Regional Stock controllers. Liaising with field staff to increase stock availability.
Hours of work are, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00.
